X. EUROPEAN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP VEM CAMARÁ CAPOEIRA – LIBEREC 2022

Basic informations

Mestre Paçoca and the international association Vem Camará Capoeira invite Capoeiristas from all over Europe and all groups to the 10th European Capoeira Championship and Festival. The official date and location of the X. OPEN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP – VEM CAMARÁ CAPOEIRA have been set for
October 14-16, 2022 in Liberec, Czech Republic! Around 200 competitors from all over Europe are expected to compete. The competition is open to all age groups and participants aged 13 (Junior category) and up.

All competitors will be divided into seven categories:

  • A+ Men – green corda up to brown corda
  • A Men – blue and blue-green corda
  • A Women – blue corda and higher
  • B Men – orange and orange-blue corda
  • B Women – orange and orange-blue corda
  • C Men – grey-yellow to yellow-orange corda
  • C Women – grey-yellow to yellow-orange corda
  • JUNIORS (13-14 years)

In case of a small number of competitors in a category, some categories may be merged.

Accommondation

Our academy – SPŠE Liberec, Masarykova 3 – provides free accomodation. (Mats are available, but you must bring your own sleeping bag.)
The hostel is €15/night – SOŠ Liberec, Jablonecká 999 – Only 40 beds available! (The registration form includes a request for hostel accommodation.)
Professors and invited guests will be provided with accommodation.
If you want to stay in a hotel, please look for suitable accommodation on the internet.

Catering

Refreshments will be available during training. During the competition, a restaurant is available.
Saturday menu €6 (soup, main course, and salad) (menu will be updated later on )
Sunday menu €6 (soup, main course, and salad) (menu will be updated later on )

  • Category C women – grey-yellow to yellow-orange corda

  • Category JUNIOR – Youth 13-14 years

    • Final – Sao Bento grande 2x

The time limit in Sao Bento Grande, Benguela, and Iuna is 60 seconds, and in Angola 150 seconds.
